Void meditation can sometimes be difficult just to sitting there or laying down with a voided out mind but what you can do and it worked for me focus on advance void meditation first I started chewing gum and when I did this I would concentrate on the taste you can do this with a mint or hard candy it definitely helped me to void out my thoughts even while doing regular void meditation
 
Yes, I like to do some yoga positions while doing void meditations. It helps to clear negative thoughts as well. Very convenient.
