So if a person is extremely exhausted from work and does nothing but eat (because hungry) before bed, can they do meditations the next day too or would this be considered as laziness?
Missing a day of meditation will make everything worse, your energies would drop even further and a vicious cycle would start.

You could do void, a quick cleaning and a simple aop in the evening, then sleep, and do the most after you wake up. Make sure to be consistent though and keep daily meditation up.
