Did i do the ritual right?

I just did the rirual of dedicating my soul to satan and i need to know if i did it right!. I pricked my finger with a lancet and wrote my name with my finger in blood, i recited the prayer,folded the paper 3 times holding it with one thing. burned the paper and waited for it to burn and said "So mote it be." and shouted "HAIL SATAN" and meditated till the candle burned out, and btw the candle was white,is that okay?
