Like humans, they have to reincarnate once their soul leaves the physical body due to death. But since their soul is much simpler than a human's, this reincarnation happens sooner and more easily. Death means Reincarnation. At least for our pets that is how it works.

There is nothing wrong with asking Satan for these things that are out of our control (beyond our competence). Like asking Anubis to help your deceased friend because you don't know how to protect him with simple Runes, just ask Father Satan for help on this
