I apologize for all the questions, but I'm having a hard time understanding the JoS website. There's a lot of words that I'm unfamiliar with and I'm confused because of the different techniques on doing power meditations. If someone could explain it to me, that would be great. I'm a beginner by the way.

In the power meditation box at jos website start from the beginners side, just follow as directed and that's all.
