Very Bright Spirit Orb

So a couple of days ago I saw a spirit orb flash in my laundry room. It had violet as the core with a sphere of white around it. It was about as bright as a camera flash and lit up the whole room for a split second. Could this be my guardian? From the looks of it, the spirit is old and wise (since those with a violet soul color are often associated with the wise and old). I saw the orb a couple of times before but never said anything until now.
Could it mean something important? I mean, to have a spirit with enough energy to light up a whole room must mean something pretty big.
Also if I have a demon protector now does that mean that I likely did the dedication ritual in a previous life? If so, would I need to do it again in this life?

Sims do you have a theory on what this is?

I was in my car late at night it the pitch blackness. There are no lights on in the parking lot of work at this time. I was about to go home and I was between meditations. My headlights were on.

I suddenly see an entity of white shimmering humanoid walking thru my beams. I stopped because my meditation in the car is a secret so people don't see me.

Then out of the darkness about 10 seconds later emerged one of my managers going to her car. I don't understand why her spirit would walk so far ahead of her?
