summer solstice

i was wondering if there was any reason not to do the dedication ritual on or near the time of the summer solstice? i had my dedication ritual planned for the eve of the summer solstice but after seeing it in the posts over the past few days i realised that the solstice was an important day to satanists.

I am joining together with some close friends and having a small bonfire and doing some energy raising together as I celebrate my 42nd birthday and the blessings of my 3 grandbabies 10 mo,5 mo, and 3 weeks old.Life is good.

I was just gonna meditate hella and do a ritual out of respect and reverence for our king. But what would be really nice, would be a ritual kinda like the blacksun ritual.
