Should I visualize my chakras while cleaning it?

I don't visualize my chakras when I am cleaning them. I only visualize a bright light ball like miniature sun, I don't visualize the chakra, I only put the light ball to the place of chakra without visualizing chakra. Am I doing it right? Should I visualize my chakras while cleaning it?

You don't necessarily need to visualize your chakra's while cleaning, the way you do it is fine. But if you already visualize a ball of light in the place of the chakra's why not visualize the chakra's themselves? Visualizing the chakra's correctly can increase the potency of the meditation.

All in all you decide yourself how you do it, there is no wrong way to do it.

Yes, ideally, but if you can’t, don’t strain too much to visualize as straining too much can decrease focus and make what you are doing less effective. If your visualization is not good and there is no easy way for you to visualize, just focus on what you’re doing. If you can’t see, then try to feel. For some people, visual part doesn’t come easy, and that’s ok, with time things will improve.
