Ritual Dagger Question

Although it's good to obtain a black handled ritual dagger. Would a white handled dagger still fill the purpose in a ritual?  Any help would be great as I'm trying to obtain more ritual items and just painted my mirror black for Scrying. Thank you.

As long as you're fine with the quality and colour of the dagger there shouldn't be a problem with your subconscious interfering during ritualistic climax.Go for it.
