Nothing really, it comes natural.
Except, doing Rituals in a quiet and safe place, where you will not be interrupted by some random people coming in.
You may find some resistance in your own mind at first (not that often indeed), so the more you do Rituals, the more they will flow naturally and easily.

The only precautions I can think of is make sure you are doing an aura of protection working and a daily spiritually cleaning.
