Question #1681: Astrology - Death Interpretation

I may not be adept with astrology, but I can look at a chart and get the gist of it. I do not, however, know what to look for when trying to gauge a time of death or upsetting events. I have planetary aspects in my solar return chart suggesting a violent death (Mars in the 8th house) and death in an institution (Neptune in the 4th house).

Are these relevant even though they are based on solar returns? Or is this applied only with the natal chart? And what should one look for in their chart to know when these things will occur?

Try and not obsess over your death. Just keep up your AoP and regular cleaning.

But you can definitely study other cases of death. Death is very complicated and you can see it in basically all prediction methods. Tarot, Astrology etc. You can go through High Priestess Pythia's writings on death. Just download this pdf from Library of Thoth.

The natal chart is more telling of your life in a general sense, whereas the solar return reflects that year. As JG BD alluded to, predicted death is complicated. Personally, I would not worry unless you have a good reason to do so. Let's also not forget that planetary activity within the 8th house can also be a benefit to your place within reality, rather than a detriment.

Transmute this added Mars energy into an AOP, as JG BD suggested, rather than into an increased conflict with elements that can bring your demise.
