Psychic ability

I have been practicing meditation.i have developed my psychic ability up to certain level but when i close my eyes i mostly see violet color and very very few time i see some faces but why other color are not in frame. am i doing something wrong or it is the part of the process?...
and how to know if your astral hearing is developing?

Rotate energy into your temple chakra to impove astral hearing, then flow energy into the nadi connecting with your third eye and temples. Draw the energy back into your 6th chakra. Reverse the rotation.
