You know? I actually just got done taking a course on the old testament at the local college and I've actually read most of these stories. I'm happy to report that my wife at least agrees with me that they are nonsense and that a truly merciful deity would not do all of these things... She is still in the dark as to my true purpose, but I am slowly enlightening her... Hail Satan!
