Messed up planetary square repitions

Hi, I got lost on one of the planetary squares for mercury

Could I just vibrate Mercurys mantra "BUDHAAYA" 108 times for 40 days and it would the same effect as the square?

Also could I vibrate the suns mantra SURYAE 108 times for 40 days to strengthen my natal sun?

Sadly, no. You have to vibrate the exact amount according to instructions. If you miss a day, it's done for. Do it again. Planetary squares are ruthless, in that sense. But also rewarding if you do them correctly and fully.
