Yes I'm doing exactly that - specifically a set of slow movements in seated poses that rotate the hips, loading them with some body weight, etc. I look forward to your post about it; it will be really interesting.
The reason I started looking for something lighter to do is that basically holding seated positions turned what should've been a yoga session into a workout, due to the tightness in the hips and the difficulty remaining straight with a natural spine position.
I'm also exploring yin yoga for "emotional release" and I intend to pair it with the SHRIM mantra working that you posted about on
Healing the Emotional Body to achieve the full emotional body purification. I thought that pairing these would help the body process any trapped emotion more smoothly and faster. Do you think this is an optimal strategy or should do something different? I wonder why I was guided to do this even though I haven't experienced any serious trauma in my life.
