Interesting name crossover

So, I was looking up Hindu names for a story I'm writing, and came across this interesting fact: the name Seth is  (also) a Hindu name, derived from the word "setu" meaning "bridge". I wonder if this ties in to the Egyptian god Set, aka Sytry/Sitri? As he is depicted as having white skin and red hair, I can totally see the link between himself and Shiva (aka Satan), thus confirming the link between India & Egypt. Love finding facts that support what we already know.

Also, a funny note...the 3rd son of "Adam & Eve" was named Seth...but his name derives from "Sheth" which means "buttocks" which supposedly also means "appointed". Who names their child Butt?

<td val[/IMG]As pure your last question, Adam and Eve is a stolen alagory. It was corrupted later by the enemy.

That's why I put their names in quotes. For one thing, I know that everything in the bibble that WASN'T stolen was utter b.s. intended to make us stupid & docile. I was bringing up more that those who wrote the Old Testament were clearly way into butts.
