I feel many laws and regulations against crime leave people exposed to being victims more so than being protected by them. If you rely on the police/government for help, than you are being weak, in my opinion. Such as, if some one wrongs you, or dishonors you, there is no law against this, even though in ancient times this was grounds for being killed. Or, in nature, if some one steals from you, they would be killed by the original owner.
So, to the point, I feel like people like us, that are conscious and noble, should be able to enforce there own law. As I have read before, the goal of ancient societies was so that every one could govern there selves.
