To To tell you the truth it all depends on how you want it to help. I do the same thing I have a non-circle baphomet necklace and wear it always. I do this to show as you have stated that I am a Satanist and proud of it. It is good to get the real image of a Satanist out there
instead of that depressed blood sacraficing gothic image that is ever so popular in society. By dressing normal, by being polite, and law abiding we are showing people that those stories are false and when doing all of this the baphomet or other Satanic symbols identifies us as Satanists. Also I am sure you can program energy into an object and turn the objects aura into a positive and protective one. Like I said it all depends on how you want the image to help.
