Can invoking the Gods alter our behavior in harmony with how a God can help someone? So for example I’ve read that Buer helps with alcohol/drug addiction. I assume that could also include food addiction, since I have that to a certain extent. Would invoking His energies into my being and resonating strongly with them help in increasing my willpower in regards to food?

What can I give in return to a God like Buer who has no ritual to Him? Which rune or rune combination would be appropriate in this case? Can I vibrate the rune/s while visualising His sigil light up?

Before invoking a God, you must be sure you are purified and open enough.
You could first try connecting by meditating on their sigil, and when you feel able to speak, express your problems to them and they will help you. You may notice increased willpower, discipline, and determination in following a specific diet. Remember that asking for help requires an exchange, as a way of thanking them for their help (giving them energy, promising them things that are achievable for you and keeping them, etc.).
