I come to you today with a question of utmost importance. When I meditate at night, I sit so I am comfortable. What are the signs that a trance is approaching?

Usually, I fall asleep for a short period

<td val[/IMG]That's why I prefer morning.More rested,and less chance if falling asleep.

Most of the time, you'll know you're in a trance when you're either unable to move or feel your body, or you're just unconscious but aware of what's going on.

A trance is simply being in a relaxed state. The more relaxed you are, the more of the dormant left-side of the brain you are using.

Signs that you are in a trance:
- feeling your body 'bigger'
- a sensation of hovering above your head
- Sensitive hearing. Every external sound (no matter how little)frightens you and makes you jump.
- flashes of visions, colors.
- feeling your body heavy, falling, or not being able to feel your body at all.

There are other signs. These are the most common.

Remember, the key to being in a trance is simply being relaxed and calming your mind. Simply breathe deeply & slowly.
