for now I've been working on returning curses for two months and I'm doing scheduled rituals. I feel like I'm making a lot of progress. I thought the dark moon might be related to the mother figure.

No its not related with mother its dark side of yourself thats hard to see. Its the negativity you arent able to see and you think that everything is fine in dark moon related areas.

Look she inserted in " ..." in first post. Because lilith is not the original and right name for the dark moon. Anyway it sounds as blashphamy because in modern astrology its associated with negativity.

As many have already said; dark moon is not a valid point and it has no influence over your chart. Things such as asteroids have little influence on the chart, vertexes and so on are important in synastry when in conjunction but dark moon isn't important.
