I also have a cringe imagination and other uncontrolled and weird problems. I can't even be around family from how bad it can be. I do get entangled in the thoughts as I try to sleep. Sometimes it clears out and I can stop. I think it's a pride thing? Maybe pretentious-ness? I do my power meditations everyday. But hardly void meditation and that's probably why. It used to be worse, and with the power meditations it's getting easier to control. But sometimes it's better to sit in shame and accept whatever is going on in your head than intensify it by arguing or trying to prove that whatever is in your head is not true or is not false. Because from my experience I always get attacked when I'm that low. Also I have weak breathing, maybe breathing exercises will help. Finishing my daily rituals are the best cause I just feel smooth. And do radiate some nice energy. Start with the 40 day program and just explore from there, see what you can and can't handle and what you can realistically do, consistently. Because if you try to do 2 much you'll probably end up quitting due to lack of motivation.DCLXVI said:Hi. This used to happen to me but it’s not as bad anymore. If your mind isn’t occupied it will start filling it with negative thoughts, so when you are lying down trying to sleep think about something good and it will start a train of thought and before you know it you will be asleep. I also take 5mg of melatonin 30 min to an hour before I go to sleep so that may help if you are lying in bed awake and unable to sleep.
