I too have been having problems lately. While I have not received the "unavailable" message, I have had duplicate groups of messages, some have not gotten through (like a topic being discussed yet I never received the first message that started the topic), some posts have not gone through when others have, etc.
I don't know if it is yahoo or what, but I know it's not on my computer end because I don't have that trouble with other groups and email accounts.
