I did a commitment ceremony a few years back with my friend but shortly after that didnt even talk about it or even believe it to be real. I have just started researching it again and was wondering if it was still ok for me to.

I agree with the other poster, Father knows the intent of your heart. It has taken me years for some things, not long for others. He is patient and waits for you to catch up with yourself.
