The article 'The Philosophers Stone' has the male chakras as the lower chakras and the feminine as the upper chakras. In another place, (I think it was the energy ripping technique), it is said that the lower chakras are femenine, receiving energy, and the upper chakras are masculine, projecting energy. Which one is correct?

If you type in 'multidimensions.com, more about chakras' you can read about the feminine and masculine chakras. Also, you can type in 'chakra boosters.com, an introduction to the chakras', and they talk about the male and female chakras. Just some places to look.
Also the site '2012 spiritual growth prophecies' has a talk of how the kundalini activates when the male and female energies unite.
