You don't have to do it perfectly. There's no such thing as perfectly either, mostly your intentions matter and the ritual is not done for anything instant (like instant money or instant experiences). You shouldn't worry too much about the ritual, daily power mediation is much more important than trying to get every single detail of the ritual right.
