Hey guys, I've recently stumbled upon the joyofsatan website and have become very interested in taking the first steps in becoming a follower of Satan (the dedication ritual). I have also recently learned of the rare blood moon total eclipse that will appear at September 27 around 10 p.m in my time zone. If I were to perform this ritual during the blood moon event, would this appease Satan? Would it have any effect at all? Please let me know if I am making a grave mistake.

You can perform the dedication ritual at any time. It is a personal event and is completely up the individual, when or how it is performed. (Candles, chalice, athames are props and not necessary for any ritual) What would please Satan, is just the sincerity of your dedication.
