Animal dreams

I have been experiencing alot of dreams of Lions,but they dont seem to be of the intention of causing any harm,it seems like every time i have to astraly pull a friend or relative out of the pit(i call it the  pit_but its actually saving someone from danger),i dream of lions.Any one know what the lion symbolizes?

I know that the lion is symbolic of Ahriman in ancient Persian literaure. The lion represents power and fierce warrior attitudes in the religion . It is from a tribe of people called the Yezzidis. I think the Yezzidis practiced this religion. It is related to Zoroastrianism but nothe same thing,exactly.
