A perculiar thing about the chakras

Well, I have read that the Sun contains all seven colours in its
most vibrant state but has anyone noticed this?

COLOR Chakra
Violet - 7th Chakra
Indigo - 6th Chakra
Blue - 5th Chakra
Green - 4th Chakra
Yellow - 3rd Chakra
Orange - 2nd Chakra
Red - 1st Chakra

Which is arranged in the specific VIBYGOR order, from the shortest
to the longest wavelength. Maybe this can be of some use?

Also, I think the ultraviolet is immediately before violet
(according to some books) in wavelength. Maybe ultraviolet color has
to do something with a higher chakra (possibly the eighth)?

Can anyone check this out? Hope the above info is useful.

The colors of the chakras are the same colors of the rainbow, in the same order,and the ultraviolet[/B] is the color of the fifth element, the Akasha (the element of the Aether), and it is related with the "sky/space". So your answer would be yes. There are meditations in the JoS site describing the use of this Aether element, including with the Pineal Gland.   TiamaT.

Chakra colors can also be changed, as well as aura color. They dont
necessarily all have to be different colors, and they do not all
have to be those specific rainbow colors ;-)

Yes, that's true, I have worked with the white golden color of the sun in my chakras as well as other healing colors, and used black for destruction. But this is too sofisticated, he asked only for a simple explanation.   And for who might be of interest, in the topic Gods of Elysium, where I asked about the God ORIAS sigil in His forehead, I found out it's the Orion Belt[/B]. The Orion Constallation is related to the Egyptian God Osiris, and I saw the stars drawn in His forehead in a dream. If I am wrong, please correct me.   TiamaT.

I believe I have seen on the JoS page before that the 8th and 9th Chakras were Gold and Silver. I am not familiar with the 9th but I can say, even from my limited experience that the 8th is most definitely golden.

I have also read, as you have that ultraviolet should technically fall in line in there, but I am unsure where it might be. Perhaps one of the HP's can lend a hand here?
