It is a very good idea to keep a written journal of your practices not only to keep track, but also for long-term archiving so you can look back at later dates what was done and when.
Focus on creating and enforcing this new habit of recording and practicing meditations etc. so that you will remember to do them.
If you forget for a short period of time (24-48 hours) continue where you left off. If for longer, depending on what you forgot, continue from scratch or where you left off.
