I had my university exams over the last two days, and I wanted to share a short yoga routine that helped me stay energized, focused, and go into the exams feeling calm and refreshed
On the mornings of the exams, I practiced a gentle 25-30 minute yoga flow to release tension and support both focus and energy. I began with light neck and shoulder mobilizations, along with a few minutes of deep breathing to settle my nervous system. I then moved through Cat Cow, Sun Salutation A, Downward Facing Dog, Low Lunge, and gentle spinal twists to wake up the body and improve circulation.
To finish, I included box breathing and alternate nostril breathing to steady my focus, followed by Legs Up the Wall and a brief Headstand, which is already part of my regular practice. This helped me feel both grounded and refreshed before the exam.
Overall, this simple routine helped me step into the exams with a clearer mind, a calmer body, and a more stable sense of focus, without feeling physically drained. It is something I will definitely continue using in high pressure moments
