A mistake I've made is to let the Moon control my life way too much. This lead to procrastination, unnecessary delays and wasted opportunities. My advice would be to be worry about such things only for beginnings of projects and spells. Just look at how many very successful people know nothing about the Moon and its phases, and yet they live very functional lives.
