Well, HP did explain once that for the Gods to interact with humans is like restricting Themselves to fit, sort of like when you need to explain complex stuff to a kid, you need to "dumb yourself down" in order to explain it in a way the kid would understand. This might play into it, They have ways to reach here but it wouldn't make sense to live here.

The effects are devastating if this happens. The frequency status of the earth and humanity is very low because of the enemy's ways and the collapse of the human being on spiritual key. This would also extend to the very safety of the earth as well as individuals and the collective.

You are not too wrong. HPZM did explain some years back that since the Earth now operates on a much, much lower level of energy and because our energy grid is contaminated, the Gods would be severely limited if They chose to physically come to the planet. In fact, if I remember correctly, he said something along the lines that if They did choose to come here regardless, They could be "affected" more easily.

Also, as some others stated, things wouldn't be great on the side of humanity either, in the state our species is in right now.

Lastly, there has been talk for many years about the Gods coming back physically, literally. But in a somewhat more recent sermon (compared to the ones from years ago about the subject anyway), HPZM explicitly stated that rather than arrival, a more accurate word about Their coming here would be a "descent". He didn't explain explicitly but giving a clear distinction kind of tells me that They won't be physically coming, at least for a long time.

I personally thought it might be more like Them "descending" on Their chosen ones to lead humanity in Their stead, almost like avatars. I'm not sure on this though, it is purely my not-too-strongly-held opinion.

There are several (I have no idea how many, or if they're infinite) layers of reality, distinguished by their frequency, most humans nowadays can only interact with the physical layer which is at a very low (or possibly the lowest? I am not sure) frequency. Pretty much every plane above the physical one, we call it the "astral plane". Since we call them "planes", the image of actual planes (as in 2-dimensional geomatrical shapes) stacked on top of each other is summoned in my head, I don't know if the naming is intentional to evoke this or if it's a coincidence.
