It does not matter whether your eyes are opened or closed during meditation. Find what works best for you. I rarely vibrate runes with closed eyes, as I'm looking at the rune in front of me.

Just be very patient. One of my very first mistakes while summoning was that I repeatedly attempted to summon the same God, because I thought they did not respond to me. I just wasn't open enough. Void meditation can be very helpful. Clear your mind and try not to let your imagination get to you.
