Taste in music is something that changes more easily than most people believe. It's relatively easy to condition your mind to listen to a specific type/genre of music. This is why we always hear about "trash modern music", yet no one talks about "music addiction", simply because it's easy to solve and is mostly a matter of self-discipline and self-respect.

It's interesting to see how your tastes change as you progress, before being an Zevism I was the typical metalhead who only listened to extreme metal and now I totally detest many of those styles and prefer more folky things and more harmonious sounds.
