New forum theme gives me Tranquility by kind of Etheric/Cosmic passion in it. Old memories. It's also like a bold "NO" for artifical 0101 design and thinking, because this style possess a part of an infinitum, that we find in Pieces of an Art. Congratulations, our now TG Maelstrom! Absolutely outstanding work on our new forums. Everything looks and feels extremely professional, and though functionality certainly matters above all else, I would like to praise how wonderful the forums now look, especially the colors and how everything pops. Also, as someone who routinely makes larger posts using quite a bit of formatting, I can happily report the little quirks when using bold and italics are all gone with this update, so thank you.

I'm feeling stupid, when I don't know people like you Mealstorm, Like Mr. Cobra; Miss/Mrs Lydia I can't even measure when we are together so close and we can't even just drink a pint of a beer or Rose Tea....

It looks great. But it is not easy to use. There are a lot of new problems which make everything much more difficult. Are these problems going to be fixed, or are they a permanent part of the new software?



It is very difficult to log in now with having to go to the email for an access code every time. That is one of the biggest problems. Most of the times that I come here, I am in places with very bad phone service or I may also have only a minute or 2 to look at it while I am working. So having to take several minutes every time to try to log in is much more difficult than it used to be. It is a deterrent from me coming here as much as I want to or as much as I did before because instead of being able to put in my password and glance at it in 5 seconds, now it takes several minutes.



There is also is no page anymore for all Unread Topics so I can't see any of them except for maybe 10 at a time that are shown. This is probably the 2nd biggest problem.



The last big problem for me is a medical problem that might not matter to anybody else. But I have a physical problem with my eyes that makes it very difficult for me to read anything in dark mode. In perfect lighting, dark mode is difficult and painful to read. In worse lighting conditions, it may be impossible. This medical problem developed in the last few years, so I did not have this problem when I was younger reading the old Joy of Satan website.



The background looks great. The images look great. But these problems are serious that it is much more difficult to use and much less functional than it was before.
