hey everyone i perfromed the initiation ritual a few days ago and I was wondering if the ritual is valid as long as I wrote my name in my own blood it just wasn't taken from my left index finger?

I am new to the site, but I have found much of the material fascinating and i was wondereing if during a summoning do i recite the prayer to satan then repeatedly recite the name of X demon or will I need to recite the prayer to satan instead?
