There's actually no real historical evidence of Jesus Christ, the person, or the savior (note the 'real' there). My favorite inceident of this is in Religulous (the movie) when xians says 'But there's evidence of Jesus Christ' and BM says 'No... there's not'. Funny stuff.

Yeah man, it really is a terrific movie; watching Jesus get slapped in the face by Romans was probably my favorite part. But in all reality, this is a must-watch, especially as a tool for xian disproof.

This is my take on it: If you really think about the modern idea of a conscience, the ideals of 'right and wrong', the root of these ideals are from religions. A majority of laws were adaptations of religious beliefs and morals taught from the bible, etc... Something that came to mind...
